Bertrand Library Weekend Hours (for Commencement)
Friday, May 18– 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 19– 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 20– 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Commencement)

Bertrand Library Open 24 hours for Finals!

The Bertrand Library is now open 24 hours through the finals period. The 24 hour period lasts through May 10, when the library will close at 7pm.

Please keep in mind that only Bucknell staff, faculty and students will be admitted between 2am-7am, and Bucknell ID must be shown to enter the library during that time. Limited services will be available between 2am-7am.

The library cafe will remain open overnight.

Students: BUTV box returns — May 2 and May 10

Students:  If you have a BUTV box, you may return it to Windstream reps in the library (at the tech desk) on May 2 and May 10 from 10am-4pm.

Students: iClickers due by May 10 at 5pm!

If you have borrowed an iClicker for any of your classes, this is a reminder that they must be returned to the Equipment Desk in the library BEFORE or on Thursday, May 10th by 5:00PM! The Equipment Desk will close at 5:00PM and the library closes at 7:00PM that evening. Fines will accrue if it is returned late. Non-returned/lost clickers will be billed to your account. You are also responsible for any damage and/or missing parts. Please DO NOT TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU!

You can now hold “on order” items in the catalog!

If you’re searching the Worldcat library catalog (http://bucknell.worldcat.org) and you see an item owned by Bertrand Library that is marked as “On Order,” you can now click the “Get it” button for that item, and it will be held for you when it arrives in the library!

You will receive an email notification and the item will be held at the Circulation desk.

Students: Equipment desk laptops now loan for six hours!

That’s right!  You may now check out laptops from the equipment desk for six hours, and you may take them out of the library!  If you have questions, stop by the equipment desk.  Thanks to the Library and IT Student Advisory Group for suggesting this policy change, and equipment desk manager, Schelly Homan for making it happen!
